PROBLEM
Formosa Plastic Co. needed corrosion protection for steel structures, high tension bolts, and flanges during equipment layup and installation.
APPLICATION
Formosa Plastic Co. used VpCI®-416 for degreasing, and then applied VpCI®-368 for corrosion protection. This was done outdoors by brushing and spraying over the period of two months.
CONCLUSION
Formosa Plastic Co. chose Cortec® because the field results were satisfactory. Additionally, Cortec® products were easy to use, economical, versatile, and effective on different types of metals.
