PROBLEM

Customer was using a Becker solvent-based paint system or nothing at all to protect their steel sheeting. They wanted a more effective solution that was not solvent-based.

APPLICATION

They applied VpCI®-386 Clear to bare edges of the steel using a foam roller.

CONCLUSION

British Steel began recommending VpCI®-386 Clear to profilers who inquire about edge protection or treatment of coated, hot-dipped, galvanized steel sheets. VpCI®-386 Clear offered a safer, VOC compliant, and easier to use solution.
