PROBLEM

HIAB AB was using oil and grease for protection of metal parts. The smaller spare parts were packed in PE bags together with silica gel. Parts were suffering from corrosion while in storage and during shipping. The customer needed a solution that would work for up to and over 12 months.

APPLICATION

Parts were placed in VpCI®-126 bags. They were then placed in cartons, loaded onto pallets and wrapped with VpCI®-126 pallet covers

CONCLUSION

The result was environmentally friendly, good protection that cut the costs of previous methods of protection considerably
