PROBLEM

American Security Products was concerned about corrosion occurring to the safes they manufactured. The lock mechanisms sealed inside the door of the safes had the potential to corrode. This could make it impossible to open the safe.

APPLICATION

To prevent corrosion from occurring to their product, American Security Products turned to Cortec’s VpCI®-101 emitters. One VpCI®-101 emitter was placed inside the door assembly as it was manufactured.

CONCLUSION

The VpCI®-101 emitters prevent the future possibility of corrosion affecting the locking mechanisms.
