PROBLEM

The customer wanted to replace a low flash point oil with a safer material that would offer a better vapor and contact inhibitor. Protection was needed for up to two years.

APPLICATION

VpCI®-329 was diluted 1:10 with engine oil. Parts were sprayed to protect in-process. VpCI®-329 was then fogged into the assembled engine.

CONCLUSION

VpCI®-329 offered a higher flash point, and was more effective, safer, and nitrite free.
